Spanish Honor Society Provides Holiday Help
Spanish Honor Society members worked together this year to support a Geauga County family in need for the holidays. The students contacted Geauga County Family Services and were matched with a young family requesting assistance. The students reviewed a list of requests and organized them on gift tags.
Each student with the support of his or her own family chose a present listed on the gift tag to donate. The students shopped for the gifts, wrapped them and even got together to decorate Christmas sugar cookies to send along to the family. In addition, gift cards to help cover the cost of the Christmas dinner were purchased.
The gifts will be delivered to the family this week. The Spanish Honor Society students did a wonderful job and enjoyed the opportunity to give to others during this holiday season.
