The Badgers of Burton Elementary School braved the cold and rain on Oct. 13 to complete their walkathon, the biggest fundraiser of the year. The Badgers raised over $6,000 with their dedication and hard work. Way to go, Badgers.
The Badgers then changed from jackets and umbrellas into their Halloween costumes and partied at the school for their fall festival to celebrate fall and the successful walkathon.
The Badgers were joined by friends, family, teachers and staff to share an evening of food and fun. Some of the festivities included various games, a costume contest and Chinese auction. An additional $2,000 was raised and fun was had by all.
