Penske Logistics Provides Help for the Holidays
Penske Logistics Women’s Network Community Committee has partnered with Cardinal schools to provide families in need with what it calls “Help for the Holidays.” The initial plan was to collect food to provide these families with the food items needed for a fabulous Thanksgiving feast. However, approximately 300 Penske Logistics associates from the corporate offices in Beachwood wanted to make sure the families had food beyond Thanksgiving Day, so the collection grew to include other food items that could be used for everyday meals.
Penske collected so many items that two large SUV’s were needed to deliver the food to Cardinal schools on Nov 21. Penske Logistics will continue to sponsor these families during the Christmas season by purchasing gifts that these family members need and/or want. It is their way to give back to the local community and to help these families have a very merry Christmas.
