Kindergarten Registration

Chardon Schools will open kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year beginning Feb. 1. To attend kindergarten this fall, a child must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2018.

The district offers two educational options:

1. All-Day-Every-Other-Day Kindergarten, where students attend Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday and alternating Mondays.
2. Tuition based All-Day-Every-Day (ADEK) Kindergarten class.

You can begin the registration process by going to the Chardon Schools homepage (www.chardonschools.org) and completing the online registration form.

To complete the registration process, we ask that you schedule an appointment with school district. This appointment will take approximately 20 minutes. You must bring your child’s birth certificate (original), one proof of residency (e.g., driver’s license, voter registration card, utility bill, credit card statement, lease agreement or affidavit of residence), immunization records and any legal documents pertaining to family situations (i.e., guardianship, custody) to your registration.

It is permissible, but not necessary, for you to bring your child to registration.
