Get ready for an evening of laughter and fun as the drama program presents “Play ON!” — a hilarious story about a theatre troupe doing their best to put on a show… even when everything that can go wrong does.
Join for a night filled with comedy, surprises, unforgettable performances and behind-the-scenes chaos brought to life on stage.
Performances are Nov. 6 and 8 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. Dates and

Exemplary Leadership Award
Chardon Local School District Superintendent Michael Hanlon was recently named recipient of the 2025 Exemplary Leadership Award from the Buckeye Association of School Administrators.
Each year, BASA recognizes one member from each of its 10 regions to receive the award. The Exemplary Leadership Award is selected by a panel of peers from each of Ohio’s BASA service regions.
“Our goal with this award is to provide some external validation for what you already know. I hope you know that you have one of the top superintendents in the state of Ohio,” BASA Director David Axner said.
Dr. Hanlon was recognized during the board of education’s Oct. 13 meeting.
“It’s certainly an honor to be recognized by my colleagues and by BASA,” Dr. Hanlon said.
