CHS Presents Les Miserables

“Les Miserables” is the much-loved musical based on the 1860s novel of the same name by French poet and novelist Victor Hugo. Set in early 19th-century France, it is the story of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption after serving 19 years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his sister’s starving child. The show premiered in Paris in 1980.

Chardon High School’s production will open March 16 at 7 p.m. at Park Auditorium on Chardon Square. Shows will also be held on March 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. and March 19 at 2 p.m.

Adult tickets are $12; student and senior citizens are $8. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Park Auditorium box office March 13-15 beginning at 4 p.m.; March 16-18 beginning at 5 p.m.; and March 19 beginning at 1 p.m.

Live TV and Online Auction
