Congratulations to Timmons Elementary School students selected for Lunch Bunch honors in March.

Kindergartners honored were Sadie Baldwin, Landen Baroni, Bella Kay, Charley Long, Beau McBride, Brendan O’Brien, Addelyn Richardson, Callie Van Curen and Daphne Zwinggi. First-graders were Molly Chaney, Stella Henry, Harper Herendeen, Maxwell Jorgensen, Charlotte Moffat, Audrey Swiatek and Sofiia Volokh.

Second-graders honored were Aurelius Betton, Ryker Castle, Olivia Coburn, Penelope Guzman, Ian Kwon, Lachlan Reed, Katherine Shorter and Maxim Taran. Third-graders were Giulietta Bordon, Gianna Dallas, Dylan McCoy, Lily Oliver, Kathryn Russo, Beatrice Seidenwand and Annie Vander Wyst.

KMS Power of the Pen

Kenston Middle School seventh-graders Kherington Swader and Keira El-Hayek have qualified for the state Power of the Pen Tournament in May at Otterbein College.

Power of the Pen is an interscholastic writing league. The non-profit creative writing program for students is specifically for seventh- and eighth-grade students in Ohio.

Kenston Conversations

Kenston residents are invited to join the superintendent and members of the administrative team at upcoming in-person community opportunities to share a cup of coffee and talk about what is happening at Kenston Schools.

Mark the calendar for April 28 from 1-2 p.m. at Buckeye Chocolates; May 3 from 1-2 p.m. at South Franklin Circle; May 11 from 9-10 a.m. at Two Café; and May 17 from 5-6 p.m. at Sirna’s Pizza in Auburn Township.

The superintendent and administration look forward to being out in the community to connect with members of the district.
