Timmons Lunch Bunch
Congratulations to Timmons Elementary School Students selected for Lunch Bunch honors in January. The following kindergartners honored with “self-control” awards were Vincent Cavallaro, Anna Cieslak, Eva Domonkos, Elijah Ellis, Madison Gambatesa, Caroline Morgan and Brayden Watson. First-graders honored were Ronald Fratoe, Adrian Guirguis, Alexis Kosiorek, Jackson Larkin, Lana Mills, Brody Nass, Bryce and Pocek.
Second-graders were Maddison Bushnell, Lilah Cornell, Mallory Hughes, Evan Jarzembak, Matthew Nelson, II, Jack Rottman, Luke Schaedler and Samantha Worsdall. Third-graders were Carson Caldwell, Ava Drcar, Hanna Hansen, Katie Harvey, Nadia Kindig, Anna McCabe, Emma Robertson, Sheridan Sawyer and Alexander Seifrit.
District Spelling Bee
Kenston will hold their district spelling bee where students compete for district honors and an opportunity to compete at the county level.
The following fourth- through eighth-grade students are the top spellers in their grade and will compete in the district spelling bee: Jonathan Abbarno, Elliott Bargiel, Morgan Blackford, Michael Cardaman, Zoe Doyle, It’sabella Eging, Chase Fazio, Mandy Glime, Jack Haynes, Evan Iliev, Michael Kenny, Sam Kress, Jessica Lesner, Elena Lioudis, Julia Morey, Jimmy Schuler, John Tatara, Aubrey Taylor, Trina Vokurka and Amelia Whitmer-Rich.
KHS Students Of The Month
Congratulations to Kenston High School students of the month. Selected for special recognition were freshmen Cara Joyce and Patrick Persichetti; sophomores Amaia Hawkins and Will Mulhern; juniors Collin Kure and Lydia Staudenbaur; and seniors Ben Blazek and Morgan Segro.
Academic Boosters Top Flight
Every semester, Kenston Academic Boosters recognizes students who have earned over a 3.75 grade point average. In the past, recognition was done with a small treat or token. This year, all students meeting the criteria were entered into a drawing for a Chromebook. Selected at random were Tom Kregenow and Riley Potts.
Kindergarten 2015-2016
Parent Information Night will be held March 2 at 7 p.m. at Timmons Elementary School for children entering kindergarten in August. Registration packets must be picked up at this time. Children must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 30, 2015.
