Timmons Lunch Bunch
Congratulations to Timmons Elemen-tary School Students of the Month for May. The following kindergartners honored with “fairness” awards were: Jetta Cornell, Logan Kidd, Claire Muzzio, Laila O’Brien, Ashley Wennerstrom, Logan Wichert and Ryan Yarchever.
First-graders were Matthew Albano, Pierce Brown, Emily Ciufo, Caitlyn Cooley, Claire Garceau, Maxwell Stefano and Alison Winter.
Second-graders were It’sabella Adante, Madeleine Burke, Anthony Daniels, Emily Ensign, Nicholas Gambatesa, Valentina Jenson, Daniel Offutt and Erin Ward.
Third-graders were Ryan Anderson, Parker Carrus, Maria Cowoski, Madison Davila, Caroline Gruver, Gavin Koeppel, Ethan Noah, Lauren Stever and Martin Weber.
Class of 2015 Honor Students
Kenston students in the Class of 2015 earning summa cum laude honors for achieving all A’s in their high school coursework were Ashley Bernett, Alexis Fleming, Corban Joyce, Caroline Kiley, Kayla Korenowski, Joshua Sekerak and Graycen Wood.
Earning magna cum laude honors with four B’s or less in their high school coursework were Katherine Blackburn, Cole Cannon, Gina Cifani, John Coming, Hannah Cubberley, Carrington D’Angelo, Victoria Doran, Haley Galaska, Paul Gray, Hannah Jerson, Katie Kuckelheim, Samuel Levy, Leah Mallinos, Hannah Malm, Anthony Martin, Samuel Obringer, Jacob Silbermann, Jennifer Smith, Jeremy Wyers and Lauren Zucker.
Students earning cum laude honors with eight B’s or less in their high school course work were Sydney Braverman, Rachael Brezovec, Matthew DeLuca, Parker Deuley, Charles Ellis, Benjamin Fazio, Alan Frygier, Jordan Hegedus, Cassandra Holub, Shayan Jamali, Jared Kammer, Sophie Kocheff, Stephen Kocsis, Gina Lanese, Carole Nelson, Sarah Porter, Thomas Rastatter, Grace Rundelli, Mark Scarpa, Christian Schell, Andrew Stanonis, Elizabeth Tuason and Harley Vossler.
Rotary Senior
Cole Cannon was selected Kenston’s Chagrin Valley Rotary Club Student of the Month for May. He maintains a 4.02 grade point average. He has earned academic departmental awards in biology and web design. Cole will graduate with magna cum laude honors.
Cole is an active member of Envirothon, French Club and National Honor Society. As a varsity soccer player, he earned an All Ohio Academic award.
He is a member of the drug and alcohol prevention skit, “Till I Drop.” As a member of the Valley Presbyterian Church Youth Group, Cole has been on several mission trips. Cole also works as a lifeguard.
He plans to attend the University of Dayton and study mechanical engineering in its honors program.
