Pumpkins aren’t just good for making a pie. Kindergartners in Mrs. Michelle Appell’s class investigated the height, size, buoyancy and number of seeds in pumpkins. They worked in groups sorting the pulp from the seeds and creating groups of ten. Everyone was surprised when they counted 650 seeds.
