Junior high teacher Steve Martin is applying techniques learned in an outdoor education in-service with Geauga Park District naturalist John Kolar to the new hiking and outdoor fitness elective at NDES. The course provides an opportunity for seventh-graders to get outside, learn more about nature and practice healthy exercising through hiking and trail jogging.
