All Saints Day Mass

The day after Halloween, NDES celebrated All Saints Day. During the Mass, presided by Fr. Dan Schlegel, the school community was challenged to throw off their masks and be models of holiness.

Under the direction of Sr. Carol Marek, SND, religious coordinator, and Mrs. Mary Ann Domankoall third-graders played a special role in the liturgy. Some students dressed as saints to represent models of holiness while another group read petitions and presented gifts.

Wild West Book Fair

The Wild West Book Fair week began with Kindergarten Lunch with a Loved One. The boys and girls had a wonderful time with their loved ones, enjoyed lunch and previewed the vast assortment of books.

Parents and students purchased books. In addition, many classrooms now have many additional titles for their homeroom libraries. A portion of the book sales, as well as the raffles and games benefit the NDES library.
