The seventh-graders are off to the stratosphere. As part of the STEM program, they put their experimental design knowledge to the test as they filled their PongSats.
PongSats are experiments that fit inside a ping-pong ball. JPAerospace in Rancho Cordova, Calif., gives students a free opportunity to send experiments to near space.
Under the guidance of STEM teacher Halle Davis, students packaged them with their experiments and look forward to collecting their post space flight data.
