Frank and Agnes Waltman Award
The Geauga Chapter of the Knights of Columbus sponsor the Frank & Agnes Waltman Award in honor of Frank and Agnes Waltman, both of whom served St. Helen Church for many years. Frank served as grand knight for the Knights of Columbus and Agnes began the It’sabella Guild, which was the women’s version of the Knights. Their lives were centered around St. Helen’s Church and they are two of its founding parishioners. Allie Martin, a recent graduate of St. Helen School, received this award.
Boosters Club Award
Each year the Boosters honor students who are both committed to academic and sports and demonstrate the characteristics of a Catholic School student and athlete. This year, Daniel Hoenigman and Dane Berschig were the proud recipients of the Booster Award.
Distinguished Graduate Award
Recent graduates Christopher Carter and Allie Martin received the Distinguished Graduate Award during the eighth grade Honors Assembly. In order to be a recipient of this award, students must meet certain criteria in academics, service and practice of faith. Congratulations to Christopher and Allie; their names will be listed in the Sisters of Notre Dame Motherhouse in Rome.
