Career Day
The second-grade students at St. Helen School have been exploring the concepts of economics, goods and services and how people earn money. The week of Jan. 27, they welcomed parents for Career Day, featuring a variety of professions. Among the guests were Jim and Jacinda Sanders from Heartwood Coffee Roasters, Deputy Merrill from the Geauga County Sheriff’s Department and healthcare professional Lisa Modic from Western Reserve Hospice. The students truly enjoyed learning about all the different careers.
