Grandparents Day Celebration
Students at St. Helen School showed their love and appreciation for their grandparents on Sept. 13. The day began with Mass at 9 a.m. After Mass, students in K-2 sang “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands,” with special verses for their grandparents. The third- and fourth-graders then recited a poem celebrating all the special things about a grandparent.
Afterward, the grandparents were able to enjoy a snack and take pictures with their grandchildren at a photo booth. The grandparents were able to see the classrooms and received a special gift to remember a morning filled with love, prayer and gratitude.
