Submitted To celebrate the Pope’s visit to the United States, the students of St. Mary’s School took him on a tour of their school building and playground. He spent quality time sliding down the outdoor play equipment with the fifth-grade class.

Mrs. Teri Merkle’s third-graders reinforced what they learned about the phases of the moon by making models. They made a “moon ring” and then changed the shape of a cookie into the different phases. Kaitlyn Boggs, Elaina Mardula and Katie Bennardo display their cookie models.
