AR Reading Race
Students in Mrs. Lisachenko’s first-grade class have been racing to increase their reading skills and learn more about the Accelerated Reading program. This was their first time using AR and becoming familiar with test procedures. They hit their class goal, entered the Winner’s Circle and will be enjoying a class party in the very near future. Grades one through five are still racing to the finish.
The school will also award a top individual point getter in each class who will receive a Barnes and Noble gift card. The top three will receive Principal Recognition of Excellence, and Everyone “Above and Beyond” goals set by each teacher will receive a Reading Award certificate and a chance to win a prize box designated for their grade level.
