One Book, One Hall
Mrs. Ryan’s prekindergarten class had many helping hands from Mrs. Rodriguez’s fifth-grade class the week of March 19. They are working on the school-wide, One Book, One Hall project centered on the book “Mr. Popper’s Penguins.” The fifth-grade class helped preschoolers to make origami penguin bookmarks.
All month long the school is working together across all subject areas driven by the book.
Invention Convention
St. Mary’s sixth-graders recently competed in their Invention Convention. The three top scorers will be invited to The Ohio State Fair for the state competition this summer.
A special thank you goes to the student judges from iSTEM who volunteered their time to make the event a success. The winners were Zoe Virant, Daniel Yaniglos and Jenny Graham.St.
