St. Mary Trunk or Treat
Willy Wonka’s chocolate river was flowing, the Mystery Machine with Scooby and the gang were hanging out, and a live circus event were just a few of the amazing trunks decorated for St. Mary Chardon’s annual Trunk or Treat event. In addition, Chardon Fire Department always shows up with their trucks and candy for all.
Despite a little cold, organizers estimate around 700 trick-or-treaters attended. Each year, the event allows the community to come together to enjoy maximum mingling with minimum walking for the families. St. Mary groups come together to decorate and host trunks in the back parking lot of the church and school. Fun dance music and grand prizes make the night a special addition to the season and a great way to get extra use out of the cute costumes.
