Little Flowers Girls Club
St. Mary junior high girls and teachers Sarah Allin and Edie Joyce have been busy preparing lessons for their kindergarten through second-grade Little Flowers Club members this year. It is the first year the club is taking place at St. Mary Chardon and it is already off to a great start.
The Little Flowers program is a series of nine lessons, each about a female Catholic saint that highlights a virtue that saint demonstrated.
The students are working together to create a scrapbook page for each saint they learn about with the help of their junior high partners. Meetings are held once a month, which allow the students to have some time after school together learning and having fun.
