Kindergarten and new student registration for the 2024-25 school year opens on Feb. 20. The registration process is online. Visit www.westg.org for information. Please complete kindergarten registration by April 15.
District Newsletter Signup
West Geauga Local Schools publishes a monthly electronic district newsletter that is currently distributed to all West Geauga parents/guardians and staff members. District residents who wish to be included in the electronic newsletter distribution may submit their contact information by visiting www.westg.org and signing up through the “District Newsletter Signup” link provided on the homepage. The next newsletter will be sent in mid-February.
Internship Opportunities Shared
West Geauga High School had the honor of hosting the Cleveland Clinic, Swagelok, ISSQUARED and Forge Biologics who presented their summer internship opportunities to students. During their Wolverine Period, students were able to learn about all aspects of the companies, see the projected high-need occupations for future positions and ask clarifying questions to learn more about what the futures of these companies look like.
The elite internships are a stepping stone to test out different occupations that help guide students into professions they are passionate about after their high school graduation. Students can be collegebound or heading straight into the workforce – there are so many different opportunities that lend themselves to all.
