Chester PD Visits Lindsey Lunch
Officer Mullins from the Chester Police Department stopped by during the Lindsey Elementary second-grade lunch during the first week of school. The CTPD officers spend a considerable amount of time at the West Geauga Schools.
During lunch, Mullins walked around to say hello to all of the students and answer their questions. The staff and students enjoyed seeing him in the building and having the opportunity to speak with him. In addition to stopping by during lunch, Mullins and other members of the CTPD frequent the building to ensure the kids and staff have a safe learning environment.
Collaborative Problem Solving
As students start the fifth grade, West Geauga teachers focus on ensuring they are ready to make the transition to the middle school. One of the best ways for students to prepare is to learn to solve problems in a collaborative manner. This form of learning helps to prepare students for the rigors of the middle school curriculum.
