Upcoming Events at Valley Presbyterian Church
On Sept. 23, from 3-5 p.m., representatives from Rise Against Hunger will lead its 60th anniversary food-packing event to prepare 10,000 meals at Valley Presbyterian Church, 17560 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township.
Rise Against Hunger’s meal packaging program uses volunteers for the assembly-line packaging of highly nutritious dehydrated meals. For information or to participate, questions, call 440-543-1071 or email to valleypc@netlink.net
Then, on Sept. 26, the church will sponsor “Risks of the Internet.” The program will run from 7-8:30 p.m., including time for individual questions.
Bainbridge Police Department officers Kurt Dreger and Ryan Patete will cover topics the department sees every week including identity theft and fraud, child stalking issues, privacy concerns, public shaming issues and more. Light refreshments will be served.
