Parkman Congregational Church is hosting its annual Trash and Treasure rummage sale on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The church is located at 18265 Madison Road in Middlefield.

FGP Explorer Series

April 17, 6-7:30 p.m.

Join Foundation for Geauga Parks for “Up Close with Bluebirds” at Holden Arboretum. Naturalist and bander Sue Ash Sandford will lead participants in peeking into nesting boxes, counting eggs, banding nestlings and more.

American Legion Pancake Breakfast

April 19, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Burton Middlefield American Legion Atwood-Mauck Post 459 is serving its final all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast of the season at the post located at 14052 Goodwin St. in Burton. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-13 and free for children under 6.

Family First Council

Trinkets and Treasures Sale

April 23-25

The Federated Church of Chagrin Falls is holding its annual Trinkets and Treasures sale at the Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe Road in Bainbridge Township.

Donation drop-off days are April 18-20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; gently used items only.

Pre-sale entry day is April 23 from 4-8 p.m. Admission is $10 this day only. The sale continues April 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and April 25, half price and bag day, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Huntsburg Grange is hosting a rummage sale and open house in the Huntsburg Town Hall, 16534 Mayfield Road. The event includes a basket raffle, bake sale and antiques.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Happy Tails Benefit Dinner

May 3, 2-5 p.m.

The non-profit, no-kill Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary is holding its fourth annual “Sunday Dinner with a Purr-pose” benefit at the Banquet Center St. Noel, 35200 Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills.

Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. with a family-style dinner at 2:30 p.m. Event includes silent and Chinese auctions, 50-50 raffle and live entertainment.
