  • Lucy from Sound Inspirations: Jan. 11, 10:30 a.m. Join for an interactive musical program.
  • Geauga Parks: Jan. 14, 1 p.m. Geauga Park District will present “Sky Legends & Lore.”
  • Maple Leaf Route: Jan. 15, 12:30 p.m. Local author Dan Rager will discuss “The Maple Leaf Route,” the first published book to chronicle Geauga County’s famous interurban railroad known as the Maple Leaf Route. Cost is $5. Call to register by Jan. 11.
  • Lunch & Learn:Jan. 16, noon.Dr. Maguire will present “Over the Counter Drugs: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.” The program and lunch are free. Call to register by Jan. 11.

  • Chair Exercises: Monday through Friday, 9:15-10 a.m. Class combines stretching, cardio and resistance bands.
  • Soup’s on Thursdays: 12 p.m. A different soup will be made each Thursday; call for the menu. Donations will be accepted.
  • Suicide Awareness/Prevention:Jan. 23. Tracy Jordan will talk about the tough subject of suicide.

  • Histories Mysteries: Jan. 17, 12:30-2 p.m. Call to sign up to see “Where is Jimmy Hoffa” on the big screen. Popcorn and beverages will be provided.
  • Heinen’s Wellness with Carol: Jan. 18, 11 a.m. to noon. Join Carol for an educational and tasty “New Year, New You” presentation. Samples provided. Call to RSVP.

  • Mondays, meet at the Chagrin Falls Park Community Center, 7060 Woodland Ave., Bainbridge Township.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet at the Burns-Lindow Building, 8465 Bainbridge Road, Bainbridge Township.
  • Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.
  • Fridays, activities will be out and about in the mornings, and end up at the Bainbridge Library, 17222 Snyder Road, in the afternoon from 1-2:30 p.m.
  • C.O.P.E.: Fridays, 9 a.m. Starting Jan. 11, join other seniors experiencing grief after the loss of a loved one at Coffee with Other People Experiencing Grief (C.O.P.E.) at Panera Bread in Bainbridge Township. Young of Heart

Jan. 18, noon
St. Anselm Young of Heart will meet at the parish center. Bring a brown bag lunch. Dessert and coffee will be provided.

Dale Olson from the Geauga Bee Keepers Association will talk about raising bees.
If the West Geauga Schools are closed because of weather, the meeting is cancelled. Members will not receive a call. Check the TV news.
It is time to pay dues of $15 for the year. Membership is for any Geauga County resident or St. Anselm parishioner, 55 or older.
