Senior Trash Pickup Days
Local road crews will again work with Geauga County Department on Aging employees and volunteers to remove large or heavy items, such as appliances and furniture, from seniors’ driveways and outbuildings during locally scheduled pickups.
Seniors must live in the community offering the trash pickup and be registered with the department on aging at least one week prior to the pickup to be placed on the pickup list.
All unwanted items must be clearly marked for the trash pickup and be placed outside the night before the trash pickup begins.
Upcoming trash pickup days are:
- Claridon Township: May 13. Register by May 6.
- Burton Township: May 14 and 15. Register by May 7.
- Thompson Township: May 15. Register by May 8.
