April 5, 6 p.m.

In celebration of the 40th year of the Friends of the Bainbridge Library, all are welcome to join for an evening of wine and jazz. After a brief election of officers, listen the story of Laura Mae Corrigan from Cleveland storyteller Dan Ruminski. Fee is $5 for Friends members; $10 others (may join at the door).

College 101

April 7, 2 p.m.

Students in grades 9-12 will learn basic college survival skills from how to cook better food in a microwave to campus safety.

Needle Arts Club

April 8, 7 p.m. 

Work on crocheting, knitting, cross stitching or other needle arts projects in a friendly, informal atmosphere or learn a new skill. Bring yarn, hook or knitting needles. Size H crochet hook and size 8 knitting needles are recommended.

Old Home and Property Research

April 9, 2 p.m.

Learn the basics of Geauga County home and property research, using deeds, landowner maps, tax records and histories.

Bikepacking 101

April 10, 7 p.m.

Experts from Bike Ohio will provide information on skills, planning and gear needed for a successful backpacking trip on a bike.

Meet with state Rep. John Patterson to learn about and discuss state legislative issues. No registration required.

100 Book Challenge Meet-up

\GCPL libraries are hosting meet-ups for 100 Book Challenge participants. Come and meet other people reading through 100 books and chat about titles. Light refreshments will be provided.

Genealogy 101

Sandra Beane Milton, with the Geauga County Genealogical Society, will suggest various ways to begin research and avoid some of the pitfalls. No registration required.

One-on-One Tech Clinics
