Geauga seniors, 60 and older, are invited to travel to Legacy Village to enjoy their Food Truck Mondays starting on July 15.

  • Cooking Demo: June 19, 12-1 p.m. Heather Hill will offer a free lunch time cooking demonstration. Call by June 14 to register.
  • Heinen’s Health & Wellness: July 22, 11 a.m. to noon. Shilah and Christine will present “Cleansing Summer Foods.”

  • SNAP Ed: June 19, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Learn about the health benefits of specific foods. Enjoy colorful fruits, vegatables and fruit kabobs with yogurt dip.

  • Tech 101: June 14, 11 a.m. to noon. Tim Szczepinski will provide basics on technology. Call the center to sign up.
  • Health and Conditions of Eyes: June 19, 11 a.m. to noon. Dr. Kaur and Dr. Kostranchuk from Chesterland Family Eye Center will give an informational and educational presentation about general eye health. Call the center to sign up.

Food Truck Mondays

July 15

Geauga seniors, 60 and older, are invited to travel to Legacy Village to enjoy their Food Truck Mondays starting on July 15. Purchase lunch from the food truck choices that day. There will be time to browse in stores or just enjoy the live entertainment in the courtyard.

The group will depart Chardon Senior Center at 10 a.m. and return by 2 p.m. Cost is $4for transportation. Call 440-279-2126 to sign up.
