- Non-Contact Boxing Class: Mondays, 2-3 p.m. Melissa Wheeler teaches a class that focuses on strength, speed, balance, flexibility, brain work and eye hand coordination through a variety of exercises and core conditioning. Equipment is provided. Donation is $1 per class.

Down Memory Lane at Penitentiary Glen
Aug. 6, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Geauga County Department on Aging and UH Geauga Medical Center are hosting at a “Down Memory Lane” program at Penitentiary Glen, 8668 Kirtland Chardon Road, Willoughby. The historical program explores the past of Penitentiary Glen Reservation and the Halle family. A PowerPoint presentation will be from 11 a.m. to noon followed by lunch from 12-12:30 p.m. and a short hike to see the remnants of the Halle House from 12:30-1 p.m.
Cost is $11 per person. Ride the bus from the Chardon Senior Center for an additional $3.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP
Aug. 6, 1 p.m.
The Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP, Chapter 4527 will meet at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.
Dr. Eric Trattner, a foot doctor, will discuss what options seniors have to care for their feet.
After a brief meeting, the group will enjoy refreshments.
Please bring in school supplies, and donations of food and staples for the Food For Friends food pantry and supplies for the Geauga Dog Shelter.
