The second annual Great Geauga County Fair 4H 5K begins at the main grandstand of the Geauga County Fairgrounds, winds through the fairgrounds into Burton Square before returning to the main grandstand.

The second annual Great Geauga County Fair 4H 5K begins at the main grandstand of the Geauga County Fairgrounds, winds through the fairgrounds into Burton Square before returning to the main grandstand. There will also be a 1-mile walk through the Natural Resources area and around the fairgrounds

Hosted by the GEAR (Geauga Engineering and Robotics), Geauga Caprine Kids, Geauga Primetime and Breeders and Feeders 4-H clubs, all proceeds from the race will help support the four clubs that represent about 200 members.
Race perks include two free entrances to the fair, live chip timing and medals to top finishers in each age group. Sixty-six pairs of Cleveland Indians tickets for the Sept. 15 game against the Twins will be given away to top finishers and random winners.

Achilles Running Shop in Mentor has also donated almost $200 in gift cards for the top placers. Each runner will receive water, snacks and race T-shirt.
