Senior Day at the Fair

Geauga County Department on Aging will host a hospitality and refreshment area at the Vernon Howard Pavilion located at the south end of the fairgrounds, across from red anniversary building.
Seniors can be entered for a chance to win a raffle drawing sponsored by University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center, Ohman Family Living, Geauga County Veterans Services Commission and Geauga Department on Aging. To be eligible, seniors need to stop by all four sponsors locations around the fairgrounds and get a picture taken to show they were there.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP
Sept. 3, 1 p.m.
Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP, Chapter 4527 will meet for its annual hot dogs and chips lunch at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road. Cost is $3. Guests must have purchased a ticket at a meeting or call Betty Scholz at 440-338-8321 for reservations.
There will be a brief meeting to learn about what the group has planned for the rest of the year.
Please bring in donations of school supplies, food, staples and for the Food For Friends food pantry and dog food, hot dogs and treats for the Geauga Dog Shelter.
