- Flu Vaccine Clinic: Oct. 4, 10 a.m. to noon. Provided by Giant Eagle Pharmacy. Additional vaccines will be available including pneumonia, Prevnar-13 and Pneumovax-23. Call the senior center to schedule an appointment and bring Medicare and all other supplemental insurance cards along. Giant Eagle offers a $5 gift card that will automatically load to one’s Advantage card with each vaccine; sign up for a card at any Giant Eagle Customer Service desk.

- Funeral Preparation 101: Oct. 3, 10:30 a.m. Learn everything one needs to know about making final arrangements. Presented by Geauga County Public Library and the Sly Family Funeral Home. Register for lunch.
- Free Hearing Tests: Oct. 9, 10:30 a.m. Holly’s Hearing will offer free hearing tests and memory games.

Look, Lunch & Listen: Oct. 9, 12-1 p.m. Join at West Geauga Library for “Eddy Fruit Farm” with Mary Kay Eddy. Lunch is available if ordered in advance. Call the senior center to register.
- Live Long & Learn: Oct. 10 and 17, 1:30-3 p.m. Register for a two part series covering the many species of birds common to the state of Ohio. Learn the call, habitat, best sighting spots, range and more of each bird. Over 100 species of birds including high quality photos will be presented. The program is free; donations are welcome.
