Eliot Ness’ Cleveland
Nov. 7, 6:30 p.m.
Travel back to the time of bootleggers, beer and unsolved crimes. This program discusses the role of Eliot Ness during his tenure as Cleveland’s safety director from 1935 to 1942. Presented by the Western Reserve Historical Society.
Hair Styling Workshop
Nov. 9, 11 a.m.
Ashley Bieder, of Hair Affair, will teach caregivers and their kids ages 5 and up how to style each other’s hair in fun and easy-to-do styles. Registration is required.
Yoga
Nov. 11 and 19, 6:30-7:45 p.m.
Mary Ann Sedivy follows the Gaelic “Cara” yoga principle. Cost is $5 per class, payable to the instructor. Bring a mat.
Natural Cleaning
Nov. 13, 6:30 p.m.
Felicia Timas, of His Daughter, will instruct on how to clean a home using common ingredients in a simple way. Participants will make natural scouring powder to take home. Registration is required.
Bring Your Own Craft
Nov. 14, 6-7:30 p.m.
Bring supplies and join together with other crafters in the Merritt Room downstairs.
3D Printing Beginner 101
Nov. 19, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Learn basic 3D design skills in the online app Tinkercad, then design a keychain and have it printed. Must have basic mouse and keyboard skills. Class is for adults. Registration is required.
Rock Out with Jake
Nov. 20, 6:30 p.m.
Join for a rockin’ kid concert with Jake from The Chardon Polka Band. Sing along and dance the night away.
Celebrating Country Hearth-Christmas
Nov. 23, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Drop in for a self-guided, do-it-yourself craft. All ages are welcome with a caregiver.
Gingerbread House Contest
Entry day is Nov. 25.
