  • Chair Exercises: Monday through Friday, 9:30-10 a.m. Class combines stretching, cardio and resistance bands.
  • Emotional Quotient: Dec. 4, 11 a.m. A representative from Home Instead will discuss how one’s emotional well-being affects one’s overall health.

  • Laugh Away The Blues: Dec. 5, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Nicole from Home Instead Senior Care and certified laughing coach Josh Woodard will present about the benefits of laughter and its therapeutic effects in combating senior isolation. A raffle and prizes will be included. Registration is required for the free event.

Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP Chapter 4527 will host its holiday party at Mangia! Mangia! restaurant, 11081 Kinsman Road, Newbury Township. Call Betty Scholz at 440-338-8321 for reservations.

If the Kenston School system is closed because of the weather, AARP will also be cancelled. Check local television stations for school closings.

The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 7 at Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.

Perishables for the local Food For Friends food pantry, and for the Geauga Dog Shelter will be collected. Monetary donations are also appreciated.
