1st Place in Video Contest

Kenston High School students Micah Greenberg, Andrew Weaver and Myles Irvin received first place honors for their submission “Kenston Culinary Creation” in the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA) annual “Stand Up for Public Schools” video contest.

Schools were asked to submit 90-second videos showing how their public district or school building is making an impact in students’ lives and future successes. A panel of professionals judged over 75 other videos from districts across the state and scored Kenston’s video the highest on the rubric evaluation.

Kenston commends Mr. Ryan Novak for his curriculum leadership in the digital media and communications class in supporting student engagement with these types of student-led projects and assignments. View the video at www.kenstonlocal.org.
