Speech and Debate
Member of the Kenston High School Speech and Debate team competed at in the Mentor Tournament. In Big Questions Debate, Chase Tuller and Will Rottman in second place and Elena Perrine in sixth place. In Congressional Debate, Samantha Stephens placed third, Colin Varga placed sixth and Devin Cinch placed eighth. Also placing eighth were Kylee Pierson in Declamation and Eden Truax in Dramatic Interpretation.
Congratulation to debaters Peter Como and Jacob Gertsburg who came in fourth and fifth place, respectively, at the first KMS Speech and Debate tournament of the year in Mentor on Nov. 23. They debated whether or not objective morality exists.

Kenston Middle School is pleased to announce their Students of the Month for January. Students selected for Student of the Month honors were sixth-graders Avari Amstrutz, Luke Armstrong, Morgan Cicek and Cullen Fehring; seventh-graders Ben Axelrod, Emma Hart, Mason Schur and Mia Strong; and eighth-graders Spencer Brownsield, Tegan Lewis, Devan McCabe and Martin Weber.
