KIT Wrestling Tournament

Kenston High School will host the 55th annual Kenston Invitational Wrestling Tournament (KIT) on Dec. 27 and 28.

Overall A Award

The Ohio State Board of Education has granted Kenston its Overall A Award. As an Overall A Award winner, Kenston’s report card shows that the district is demonstrating high academic performance, outstanding progress and momentum for its students. Kenston Schools received this recognition for the second year in a row.

Libraries in the Digital Age

Whether students call it a media center, the KMS Flight Deck or the KHS Innovation HUB, maintaining and circulating books through building libraries continues to be a priority for the district. The introduction of innovative tools and experiences and creating a more collaborative environment for learning is an addition to the space rather than a replacement for books. Sora and INFOhio are digital resources that are available to families 24/365.

Gift of Music

Kenston wishes everyone the joy of the holiday season. The winter concert season featured the high school holiday concert with performances featuring the high school concert winds, girls chorale, chorus, flute choir, symphonic band, jazz ensemble and varsity jazz. Over 250 students under the direction of Mrs. Julia Green and Mr. Jeff Link performed on Dec. 12.  The concert is posted on the district website for the community’s enjoyment during the holiday season.
