Valentine Scavenger Hunt

Feb. 1-15

Make the Burton Library a stop on one’s night out. Complete a scavenger hunt for couples or friends and receive a box of chocolates.

Find Your Fit

Feb. 3, 6 p.m.
Learn the secret to achieving the perfect fit with Bra Fit Expert Katy Metzner. Learn the most common mistakes made when buying a bra, the different types and how to care for them. Free professional fittings will be provided. Attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.

Yoga

Feb. 4, 18 and 25, 6:30 p.m.

Mary Ann follows the Gaelic “Cara” Yoga principle. Cost is $5 per class, payable to the instructor. Bring a mat.

Meditation for Relaxation

Feb. 4, 6:30 p.m.

Simple meditation for relaxation and connecting with one’s inner guidance, led by Rev. Jenni Vinecourt.

Bodyworks

Feb. 5, 3:30 p.m.

The Cleveland Museum of Natural History program uses preserved specimens and anatomical models to teach students in grades 3-6 about the organization of the human body. Registration is required.

Crochet 101

Feb. 5, 12 and 19, 6:30 p.m.

Teens and adults will learn the foundations of crocheting in this beginner class. No prior experience necessary; supplies provided. Participants must attend all three progressive sessions. Registration is required.

Balloon Twisting Workshop

Feb. 8, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Bubbles N Swirls will teach youth in grades 2-5 how to make balloon animals and more. Registration is required.

Bring Your Own Craft

Feb. 13, 6-7:30 p.m.

Bring supplies and join other crafters in the Merritt Room downstairs.

DIY Healthy Snacks

Feb. 17, 3:30 p.m.

Youth in grades 3-7 will learn how to make fun and creative healthy snacks. Registration is required.

3D Printing Beginner 101

Feb. 18, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Adult will learn basic 3D design skills in the online app Tinkercad, then design a keychain and have it printed. Must have basic mouse and keyboard skills. Registration is required.

Mini Golf

Feb. 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy a fun round or two of mini golf in the library. Holes will be set up throughout the library; prizes will be awarded for finishing a round.

Read to Therapy Dogs

Feb. 29, 11 a.m. 

Children of all ages may practice their reading skills Paws for Reading therapy dogs.
