Geauga County Public Library is offering virtual programs via Zoom. For registration, visit www.geaugalibrary.net. Provide an email when registering; instructions for joining the Zoom meeting will be provided upon registration.

Writers Round Table 

Aug. 1, 2 p.m. 

The program is open to all levels of writers. Learn how to start writing and stay motivated. Random House author Christina Porter will facilitate the session. Bring questions and experiences.

Book Discussion

Join Geauga West’s new virtual book group to discuss “There There” by Tommy Orange.

Preparing Bees for Winter

Aug. 7, 6 p.m. 

Healthy winter bees must have winter stores and a low parasite load (the varroa mite) to make it through Ohio winters. Beekeeper Trish will walk participants through what to look for at inspections, how to avoid being fooled about their honey stores and how to help bees outwit the varroa.
