In Geauga Dairymen 4-H Club’s meeting on Feb. 7, members elected new officers for the 2021 4-H year. The new president, Jack H., led the meeting with Mark R. as vice president, Garrett H. as secretary, Nick A. as treasurer, Danny A. as health, Paul R. and Louie F. as safety and Owen N. and Jimmy A. as recreation.

Members talked about honor club and voted that they will be participating in it to better the community.

Members planned a 4-H window display that they will make at the Hastings Dairy Farm for Ohio 4-H Week. Each family will create a piece of the display. They also talked about attending Quality Assurance and Dairy Palooza this spring, and touching up on ways to complete the club’s quality assurance. For the club’s education, members watched a video on caring for cows and demonstrating how to treat cows. The recreation officer shared a YouTube video, which members followed along and learned how to draw a cow.
