Geauga Young of Heart will meet at St. Anselm Church in Chester Township. Bring a brown bag lunch. Refreshments will be provided. A speaker from the Geauga Park District will highlight the natural wonder areas that make Geauga County a biodiversity “hot spot.”

Reithoffer’s Summer Market

Aug. 15-17

Reithoffer’s Art, Spirits and Entertainment hosts its annual summer market weekend at 17711 Ravenna Road, Auburn Township. Hours are 5-9 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 12-5 p.m. Sunday.

The event features curated vendors and local makers; live music and entertainment; art exhibits and installations; craft cocktails and food trucks, with free entry.

Flea Market on the Greens

Aug. 16, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Chesterland Historical Village will host its annual Flea Market on the Greens featuring treasures galore, music, food trucks and more. Join in a great time of treasure hunting. Admission is $3 for adults and free for children.

CSA Family Market

Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Chardon Square Association’s Family Market runs Saturdays through Aug. 23 on Chardon Square.  The community-based marketplace provides fresh, locally sourced products in a family-friendly atmosphere, connecting the community with local farmers and artisans. Enjoy live music, games and raffles while shopping and supporting the local economy.

Chicken Dinner and Car Show

Aug. 17, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Edward and Lucy Parish will host its 16th annual Chicken Dinner and Car Show, rain or shine, at St. Edward Church, 16150 Center St. in Parkman. Event features classic cars and trucks, Chinese auction, pie auction, raffles, DJ Cory and kids games.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children 10 and under. Early bird ticket sales for the Chinese auction and raffles are available Aug. 16 from 2-6:30 p.m. Drawing will be after 6 p.m. Aug. 17; winner need not be present.

CWC Luncheon

Vintage Car, Truck and Tractor Show

Newbury Township is hosting its eighth annual vintage car, truck and tractor show at Oberland Park, 14639 Auburn Road, Newbury Township. Registration opens at 10:30 a.m. Registration and admission are free.

All years and makes welcome, including antique, classic, muscle, sports and tuner cars. Show awards; first 100 receive goody bags dash plaques.

Event includes food, raffles, 50/50, trivia contest, music mix and a concert featuring Pet the Cougar at 7 p.m.

Geauga PERI Meets
