The Bainbridge Township Service Department recently announced the closure of the Pettibone Road bridge between Brewster and Geauga Lake roads through Oct. 2. The Geauga County Engineer’s Office is replacing the bridge over the Aurora Branch of the Chagrin River, according to a service department news release. “Detour routes will be posted and traffic will be maintained accordingly,” the release said. Work on the bridge began May 29, according to Geauga County Engineer Andrew Haupt. For additional information, contact the Geauga County Engineer’s Office at 440-279-1800.
