GGP Internship Program
On Sept. 6, Berkshire senior Ronnie Simpson discussed his internship experience at the Geauga Economic Leadership breakfast, which was held at Kent State Geauga. The internship program is a paid summer job that interested students apply for each year. The Geauga Growth Partnership seeks out qualified students in Geauga County high schools to participate.
Mr. Lee Imhoff of Troy Chemicals introduced a video showcasing the students’ experiences this past summer and talked about the importance and success of the program. The panel of speakers included Georgia Klemencic, Les Bednar, Kelsey Zimperman and Ronnie Simpson.
