Prophecy & Popcorn Night

Chester Christian Center A/G Church will be hosting a “Prophecy & Popcorn Night” featuring two films on Sept. 19 starting at 7 p.m.

The first film is “It’srael Invisible: The Case for the Ancient Homeland.” Why is It’srael the most controversial nation in the world? Take a historical journey to today to learn that it was God’s covenant with It’srael.

The second film is titled “Jerusalem and the Lost Temple of the Jews.” Discover the end times prophecy of the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple.

Chester Christian Center A/G church is at 11815 Chillicothe Road in Chesterland.

Holy Spirit Weekend

Linda Weber, of Sole Purpose Ministries, will preach at 7 p.m. Sept. 19 and 20 at Hambden Township Hall, 13887 G.A.R. Highway. Everyone is welcome. A freewill offering will be taken.

Breakfast Benefits UMC Mission Team

Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St., will host a breakfast Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon to benefit the church’s 2015 Guatemala Mission Team, which will be working with Orphans Resources International in January.

A freewill donation will be gratefully accepted. All are welcome.

The Daniel Plan

Chardon United Methodist Church will offer the Daniel Plan, based on the book of the same name. Written by Dr. Rick Warren, founding pastor of Saddleback Church, the plan outlines a healthy lifestyle program based on five essential principles of faith, food, fitness, focus and friends.

Chardon UMC will offer sessions on Fridays at 6:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 26, at DaBoro’s restaurant, 510 Water St. in Chardon.
