Free Sunday Dinner
St. Luke Episcopal Church, 11519 Wilson Mills Road, Munson, will offer a free Sunday dinner on Nov. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Fellowship Room. There will be a choice of soups, breads and desserts. Donations are appreciated, but not necessary. To help prepare or serve the dinner, or for more information, call 440-285-4641.

Stuff the Van
Junction Auto Sales on Mayfield and Ravenna roads in Munson will host a Stuff the Van event for Geauga County Job and Family Services Nov. 1-10 during regular business hours. Donations needed are new toys, clothing and nonperishable foods as well as monetary donations in any amount. For more information, call 440-286-6161.
Geauga Walkers
The Geauga Walkers will meet Nov. 4 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the W.C. Best Wildlife Preserve, Sunset Shelter, 11620 Ravenna Road in Munson.
Weekly hikes are one to one and one-half miles long and are for Geauga County seniors. They are cancelled if temperature is 30 degrees or below.

Shutterbugs Camera Club
The Shutterbugs Camera Club will meet Nov. 6 from 7-9 p.m. at the Geauga Park District’s West Woods Nature Center in Russell Township. It is competition night.

With the Arts
The Valley Art Center, 155 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls, will hold an opening night reception Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m., for the 43rd annual Juried Art Show. The free event is open to the public. The show continues through Dec. 18.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare for, and during, the show. To help, call the VAC at 440-247-7507.

With the Genealogical Society
In honor of Veterans Day Nov. 11, the Geauga County Genealogical Society presents Mr. Wally Huskonen, who will speak on “Military Records Research.” The meeting, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Bostwick Room of the Chardon Public Library. Light refreshments will be served.

Munson Fire Station will hold a Halloween party Oct. 31 from 6-8:30 p.m. A safer choice than door-to-door trick or treating, it is free and open to all.
