Senior Citizens Recognition

The 25th annual West Geauga Senior Citizens Recognition Dinner will be held on May 6 at 4:30 p.m. in the West Geauga High School cafeteria, 13401 Chillicothe Road in Chester Township. Sponsored by West Geauga Local Schools and the Rotary Club of Chesterland, the evening promises to be both entertaining and full of friendly faces.

Payment of $5 per person will be collected at the door. Valet parking will be available.

Meet The Superintendent

The West Geauga Board of Education invites the community to an open house to welcome West Geauga Local School District’s future superintendent, Dr. Richard Markwardt. The open house will be held April 9 from 6-7:30 pm in the West Geauga Middle School cafeteria, 8611 Cedar Road, Chester Township.

Kickstart College Fair

Accelerate the college search by attending the Kickstart College Fair on April 27 from 6:308 p.m. at the West Geauga High School gymnasium, 13401 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Students and parents from all schools are welcome to attend this free college fair.

Sponsored by the Geauga County Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling (OACAC) and presented by the West Geauga Educational Foundation (WEDGE) with Chardon, Kirtland, Mayfield, Orange and West Geauga high schools, more than 55 colleges and universities will be represented along with other groups to help students as they search for educational opportunities after high school graduation.
