With the community’s help, the Chardon Middle School Relay for Life event raised $8,261.80. The funds will truly make a difference in the fight against cancer. Just ask one of the nearly 14 million cancer survivors who will celebrate another birthday this year.
Donation to Marilyn’s Voice
Munson Elementary School third-graders recently presented a check to representatives from Marilyn’s Voice. Marilyn’s Voice is an animal rescue group that helps neglected and abused dogs.
The class raised $1,225 by selling pet toys and blankets that they created as part of the economics unit.
