NDES sixth-grade science students are learning characteristics of science and scientific explanations through a hands-on project measuring the heights of their peers and graphing the results. This exploration will help students become more familiar with the scientific process and how to graph and interpret their data.
The Great Pumpkin Patch
Notre Dame Elementary prekindergarten students picked pumpkins from the school pumpkin patch. The children planted seeds last June before leaving for summer vacation. After picking the pumpkins, the students weighed, measured and recorded their pumpkin’s data in a pumpkin report.
