Colin Boland Memorial Run
On Oct. 19, NDES students, families, faculty and staff participated in the second annual Colin Boland Memorial 5K Run in honor of Colin Boland. Colin Boland, son of John and Kelly Boland and sibling to Clare, Brendan and Shannon, passed away in October of 2010 and was a student at Notre Dame Elementary Preschool. In memory of Colin, the Boland family started the Colin Boland Memorial Foundation.
Life-Sized Rosary
In honor of the Blessed Mother, the month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. Third-grade students celebrated this tradition by creating a life-sized rosary that measured over 20 feet long. The students prayed a special intention on each bead.
